Description
Join me for my very first semester of upcycling fun! I tested this class out over the summer and it was a huge hit!! I am now offering it as a 12 week, semester class. Here’s how it works:
Students can bring any materials from home (or a thrift shop!) to upcycle: jeans, sweaters, button-up shirts, sheets, etc, and they can turn it into something new! Don’t have anything from home that they want to repurpose? No problem! I have a variety of fabrics/materials that students are welcome to choose from and give new life! I have inspiration boards for kids to look at, or they are welcome to bring their own ideas! Below are some picture examples of upcycles.
This is a great class for creative minds, who like to design and create! All skill levels are welcome, but it might be best suited for those who have completed Sewing 1 to have a strong foundation of sewing and a basic understanding of pattern construction. Sewing Basics is a prerequisite for this class.
